What is Trriple?

Trriple is a mobile wallet (mWallet) solution that enables individuals, merchants and corporations to make their payments easy, fast and secure.

Trriple has two applications in the market, both present in Apple Store and Google Play:

  1. App for individuals: you can find our mobile wallet application in the App stores under the name of “Trriple”. With Trriple, you will be able to buy air time for your phone or for a friend in the UAE and internationally, send money overseas, pay at merchant locations, pay your bills, save money and much more.
  2. App for merchants: you can find our mobile wallet app for merchants in the App stores, it will enable you to fund the mWallets of Trriple customers, sell air time, receive payments with Trriple, pay to your providers and more. What can I do with Trriple?

If you download Trriple mobile wallet you will be able to:

- Buy air time for UAE mobile numbers from Du and Etisalat
- Buy air time on international mobile numbers
- Send money overseas (After completing the physical KYC form)
- Send money to other Trriple users in the UAE
- Create and manage different saving pockets, you can choose how to name them and the amount of money you want to store in them
- Fund your mobile wallet by depositing cash in one of our agent locations
- Pay to merchants connected to Trriple merchant network (See locations link)
- Pay Dubai Police fines
- Program recurrent payments and set reminders
- Share Trriple App with your friends and get rewards
- Check out Trriple’s benefits and promotions and be a part of the Trriple Rewards Programme

How can I get Trriple mWallet?

First, download the App from Apple store or Google Play store.

If you were registered by a company or by a merchant, click on “Activation”, otherwise click on “Create New Account”, you will be asked to follow three simple steps:

  1. Fill up your name, last name and mobile number
  2. Enter the code sent to your mobile by SMS
  3. Set your security measures (Log in PIN, Transaction PIN and Security question)
After finishing the registration successfully your account will be created and you will have access to your Trriple mobile wallet.

Where can I pay with Trriple?

You can visit our website to check the locations of our merchants which are accepting Trriple Payments.

How can I deposit money into my Trriple mobile wallet?

You can fund your wallet by making a cash deposit in one of our agent locations. You just need to tell the agent the mobile number linked to your account and the amount of the deposit, the agent will process your transaction. Once you hand over the cash, you will receive a notification to your phone confirming that the deposit was made.

Also check out cash-in points locations where you can go and using the POS/Kiosk deposit money in your wallet. The locations are available on our website.

What are the charges?

  • Air time top- up for UAE numbers: Free
  • International air time top- up: AED 0 fixed fees. The recipient number will receive the air time as per the agreement between the telecommunications company, that is operated by our partner.
  • International remittance fee: AED 10 per transaction (launch offer)
  • International remittance exchange rate: defined by our partner Wall Street Exchange.
  • Transfers to other Trriple users: AED 0.5 per transaction (launch offer)
  • Payment to merchants: Free
  • Fund the wallet (Cash-in): Free on Trriple Network
  • Create and manage saving pockets: Free
  • Dubai Police fines payment: AED 5.00 per transaction
  • There are no account management charges if you keep your account active while transacting with us. However, if you don’t do any transaction on your account for 6 months and it becomes dormant then 0.5 AED will be the charged per month to maintain your account.
  • There are no registration charges.
These fees only apply for Trriplers – individuals that use Trriple application.

Why can’t I do remittance?

To be able to do remittances from Trriple mobile wallet you need to first fill up a KYC form at any Wall Street Exchange branch.

In case you have already filled up the KYC form and the reason for not being able to send remittances is different, please contact our Customer service number.

Why is the application asking me for more information about myself?

We want to know you better to serve you better. Once you have used Trriple for sometime, we would like to know more about you, to give you better benefits and features. The first time you register we only collect your basic details like your name, last name and phone number for easy and fast registration, but it restricts your account to a balance holding limit, a monthly funding limit and a monthly payment limit of AED 500.

If you provide us more information about yourself, like your email address and your Emirates ID information, you will be upgraded to get a balance holding limit, a monthly transaction limit and a monthly funding limit of AED 800. That is not all. Some other benefits include:

you will get better chances to participate in our raffles

you will be able to get small allowances to complete transactions when your balance is not enough through our Nano Credit service (being liable to pay back the amount allowed along with a fixed service charge in your next cash in.)

Lastly, iIf you have filled the KYC form at a Wall Street Exchange branch, you will be able to send international remittances, get a balance holding limit and a monthly funding limit of AED 4,000 and get more chances to win in our weekly raffles.

What is Log-in PIN?

The Log-in PIN is a four-digit security code that you need to define when you register in Trriple mobile wallet. This PIN (Private identification number) will allow access to your account in the application.

What is Transaction PIN or TPIN?

The Transaction PIN or TPIN is a four-digit security code that will allow us to verify your identity when you do a transaction. You need to define this TPIN (Transaction Private identification number) during the registration process.

What is the security question and what is it for?

This is a question that you set with your secret answer during registration of your mobile wallet account. In case you forget your PIN in the future or want to change it, the answer to this security question this question will allow us to verify your identity and process the PIN change.

I forgot my log in PIN, what do I do?

Don’t worry, getting back your account is fast and easy, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the application and press sign in
  2. Enter your mobile number and press “Forgot PIN”
  3. You will receive an SMS with a 6-digit code, please enter it in the app
  4. Answer the security question
  5. Define a new log in PIN and confirm it
I forgot my Transaction PIN, what do I do?

Don’t worry, getting a new Transaction PIN is fast and easy, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your mobile wallet
  2. Click on the settings button on the high right corner of the app
  3. Click on “Change transaction PIN”
  4. Enter your mobile number
  5. You will receive an SMS with a code, please enter it in the App
  6. Answer the security question
  7. Define a new transaction PIN and confirm it
Do I need a bank account or a credit card to use Trriple?

No, you can fund your Trriple mobile wallet with cash at one of our agent locations or cash-in kiosks.

Do I need a minimum balance in my Trriple mobile wallet?

No, with Trriple you are the owner of your balance, you have access to all the money you have in your mobile wallet.

Why is Trriple secure?

Trriple uses a highly secure system, and has different levels of authentication to ensure that we are serving the right user. We verify your identity by asking you the Log-in PIN to sign in to your account and the TPIN to complete transactions. We also verify that the transaction is coming from a registered device, therefore, if someone tries to access your account from another device, the system will reject the access and ask for the registration of the device by entering a code that comes to your mobile number.

What if I lose my phone?

Don’t worry. You have a secured log in PIN to access your account and a TPIN to complete your transactions you do in your Trriple mWallet. Therefore, if somebody takes your phone, the person wouldn’t be able to access your money without knowing the PINs.

If you lose your phone, you can activate your mobile wallet again in a new phone using the mobile number you registered with in Trriple mWallet.

What if I changed my phone number?

If you wish to or have changed your phone number permanently, please contact our Customer service number to assist you with how to restore your account in the new phone number.

Can I withdraw money from my Trriple mobile wallet?

This feature is not currently available in the application. We are working towards shortly offering you this service in the near future.

How can I close my Trriple mobile wallet account?

  1. To close your Trriple wallet, please call our support team to submit your account closure request at: +971 4 3790 087
  2. Kindly ensure that the account balance is zero at the time of submitting the request.
  3. After identity verification your account will be marked as closed.

I would like to close my Trriple account but I still have balance?

  1. If you’d like to close your account, its better to use the remaining amount on your mWallet so you don't have to wait for the cash-out process.
  2. Cash-out process will be arranged for you after you submit your account closure request by contacting our support team at: +971 4 3790 087.

Can I re-open my account after closing it?

Yes, you can register again with any valid UAE mobile number, but if there's a chance that you might want to use your mWallet in the future, it's a good idea to keep your account open as there's no fees to keep it open without regular use.
